RENAISSANCE SHOWCASES PERFORMANCE AUDIO AT HI-FI LIVE SHOW 2019

Edinburgh-based purveyors of quality hi-fi, Renaissance, have announced their line-up for the Hi-Fi Live Show 2019.

Hi-Fi Show Live will be hosted at Ascot racecourse this October and will see the Scottish high-end audio specialists make their UK exhibition debut.

StereoNET has been told that we can expect performance audio products from VPI, MOON and Nordost. Visitors to Renaissance's showcase are sure to be impressed by what they hear.

VPI HW-40

VPI HW-40

We are proud to have been the first English-speaking publication to have broke the news about the Weisfield's HW-40 Anniversary turntable. Now UK hi-fi fans will be able to experience this unique creation that has been lovingly engineered in New Jersey by the US masters of vinyl replay, VPI.

The HW-40 pays tribute to forty years of audio development and engineering excellence. It features VPI's original direct-drive motor design enhanced by the best of 2019's motion control circuitry, vibration and isolation technology. With beautiful gloss wood sides, metal platter and a 12-inch gimbal 3D printed Fat-Boy tonearm; the HW-40 is stunning record player reminiscent of the original VPI designs.

Only 400 of these turntables are available - so, if you like what you hear, you'd better act fast.

MOON by SimAudio

MOON 860A v2

We were genuinely impressed by the MOON 860A v2 when we experienced it for the first time at High End Munich. The 860A v2 is a balanced differential dual-mono power amplifier that provides both exceptional transparency and a remarkable musical soundstage.

Nordost

Nordost QPOINT

Renaissance will be showcasing several performance accessories from Nordost, including the QPOINT Resonance Synchronizer that emits a subtle field which apparently manipulates all electromechanical resonances within its immediate proximity so that they resonate in unison with each other. By syncing these resonances, the QPOINT eliminates internal electrical noise, enhancing the coherency and timing that is typically lacking in even the most high-end audio systems.

John Carroll, Owner of Renaissance, told StereoNET:

I can't wait to demonstrate our exceptional products at the show. The combination of the very best in audio technology, together with our unique selection of vinyl and digital recordings is certain to create something very special. I'm excited to see the reaction of our visitors once the performance starts!

When and Where

Renaissance will be in rooms 308-310 of The UK Hi-Fi Show Live at the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand on the 26th and 27th October 2019.

Refreshments will be provided for Renaissance's guests.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
