RINGO STARR PEACE & LOVE PRO-JECT ESSENTIAL III

Pro-Ject has partnered once again with The Universal Music Group, this time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band.
Arguably at the other end of the rock 'n' roll scale to the recently revealed Guns n' Roses turntable, the Peace & Love edition deck marks three decades of Ringo Starr collaborating with handpicked artists and friends to put on a show unlike anything else.
The Pro-Ject Essential III is once again the basis for this special edition. However, the Essential III has been upgraded with an acryl platter. It also features an Ortofon OM10 cartridge, a precision diamond cut aluminium pulley, top-notch MDF chassis and built-in motor control for optimal speed stability.
The acryl platter is not just there for sound enhancement either, it also allows you to view the underlying, stunning artwork designed by the voice of Thomas the Tank Engine himself.
Sir Ringo Starr and the 30th Anniversary All Starr Band Tour (1989-2019) starts in Southern California on March 21st before the band heads to Japan, beginning in Fukuoka on March 27th and ending April 11th in Osaka.
Then, in August 2019, Ringo and His All Starr Band will hit the road for a celebratory tour which will kick off in Canada on August 1st and ends up in Los Angeles in September 1st.
The Ringo Starr Peace & Love Turntable is available for £429.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
