Sonus faber states that its Omnia wireless speaker system sets a new benchmark in design, technology and sound quality. Moreover, it's undoubtedly got la moda Italiana!
This 490-watt, DSP-optimised, seven-speaker, four-way home audio system offers wireless connectivity to bring you Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast Built-in, Spotify Connect, TIDAL connect, Bluetooth AptX HD, and is Roon Ready.
Sonus faber's Omnia also sports a wired Ethernet connection and HDMI ARC to enhance TV sound. Thanks to its built-in (MM) phono stage, you can even add your turntable to Omnia. There is also a switchable RCA input.
Furthermore, this is the debut of two new trademarked Sonus faber technologies dubbed SENSO and CRESCENDO.
SENSO is a touch control interface on the unit itself. Illuminated lines on the SENSO top panel indicate the speakers' mode, input and volume and connectivity options.
Meanwhile, CRESCENDO is an advanced signal-processing system (DSP) that introduces a greater sense of immersion and dimensionality by cleverly utilising the two 44 mm full-range drivers with a non-pressed cellulose pulp inverted dome, says Sonus faber.
Joining those drivers is a pair of 19 mm silk-dome tweeters with a Neodymium slug structure magnet motor system, two 76 mm paper-pulp cone mid-range drive units and a 165 mm long-throw bass woofer with an aluminium down-firing driver.

The Sonus faber Omnia measures 130 mm x 650 mm x 280 mm (HxWxD), weighs 7.6kg, and is available with either a Walnut or Graphite wood top for £1,599.
