T+A OS and Symphonia Take Centre Stage at Munich 2025

At HIGH END Munich 2025, T+A elektroakustik is setting its sights firmly on the future with the debut of its Symphonia streaming amplifier and a working prototype of the upcoming T+A OS.
T+A elektroakustik is marking its final appearance at the HIGH END show in Munich with a forward-looking showcase of new technologies and audiophile classics. Headlining the Herford-based brand’s presence is the world premiere of the Symphonia streaming integrated amplifier, joined by a preview of “Vision E” — a pre-production concept from T+A’s upcoming E-Series that also introduces the company’s new operating system, T+A OS.
Symphonia, a powerful all-in-one component, combines the company’s next-gen Streaming Architecture G3 platform with a high-performance DAC stage and robust amplification. Rated at 250w into 4 ohms (125w into 8 ohms), it features T+A’s proprietary Path Separation Technology, which independently processes PCM and DSD signals to preserve sonic integrity. Dual differential 32-bit converters per channel handle PCM decoding, while native DSD playback is delivered via a direct T+A True 1-Bit converter up to DSD512. Full streaming functionality includes support for Roon, Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and more, alongside HDMI ARC, USB DAC, and analog inputs.
The new Symphonia alongside the just-launched Talis S 330 floor standers will be demonstrated. These employ solid aluminium cabinets, 270w handling, and a 25Hz–40kHz frequency range. Matching bookshelf models, the Talis R 330, are also on display.
In keeping with its tradition of engaging visitors in the development process, T+A is also presenting a near-final prototype of its next-generation E-Series receiver. Dubbed “Vision E,” the concept model is the first product to feature T+A OS, the company’s ambitious new user interface platform. Following a teaser at last year’s show, the 2025 version is now integrated into working hardware, giving showgoers a hands-on preview of the operating system's refined UI. A dedicated team of developers, designers, and UX specialists have been tasked with ensuring the system delivers a consistent, intuitive experience across all future T+A products.
T+A’s Head of Development, Jörg Küpper, emphasised that while innovation drives the brand forward, its core mission remains unchanged:
“Despite our excitement for new technologies, we never lose sight of the core purpose: music reproduction.
He explained that the new T+A OS is designed to bridge the gap between advanced functionality and intuitive operation, combining full-colour displays with tactile elements like rotary knobs and physical buttons — a deliberate move to ensure usability never comes at the cost of fidelity.
As a special addition to the final Munich presentation, T+A has enlisted respected German reviewer and YouTuber Peter Spier of HiFi Schmitz to host live demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday.
T+A Managing Director Conradin Amft says the company wanted to leave a lasting impression at HIGH END Munich 2025, and teaming up with one of Germany’s most recognisable hi-fi personalities was the perfect way to do so:
“Peter is not only a great conversationalist but also a thoroughly entertaining and knowledgeable host. That’s why I’m especially pleased that he’ll be leading our demonstrations at High End 2025 and giving our guests the opportunity to experience the new Symphonia and Talis loudspeakers live.”
With these final presentations, T+A closes this year's final Munich chapter on a high note, offering a nod to its storied past and a clear vision of the brand’s future. Pricing for the Symphonia streaming amplifier and the new Talis loudspeakers is expected to be announced shortly.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
