TradeUP With McIntosh

Buy a new McIntosh product and get the original retail price of your audio gear in part exchange.

McIntosh's 2023 TradeUP Program is running until June 30th 2023. It offers you the total original retail price for any home audio electronics, regardless of brand, you trade in against a new McIntosh product from an authorised UK McIntosh dealer.

So, no matter if you're upgrading from an existing McIntosh system or considering pulling the trigger on that long-coveted McIntosh item, the time could well be now, thanks to the McIntosh TradeUP Program.

We're told that any home audio product will be considered for the trade-in during this limited-time offer through authorised UK McIntosh dealers. Customers are urged to contact their local dealer to discuss the options.

Of course, there's a range of terms and conditions, one of which is that the purchase value of the new McIntosh product must be more than double the value of the traded-in product. So, for instance, if you're looking to trade in an integrated amplifier that initially retailed for £2,500, to be eligible, the McIntosh product will have to be MRP £5,000+.

Additionally, the McIntosh TradeUP Program applies only to the trade-in/purchase of HiFi Electronics, such as stereo power amps, preamps, integrated amps, phono stages, turntables, CD players/DACs, streamers/music servers, tuners, headphone amps and receivers. Monoblock amps are eligible but only when traded in and sold in pairs. McIntosh AV/Home Cinema products are currently not part of the McIntosh TradeUP Program.

If you're considering a new McIntosh product and have something to trade in, check out the link to find your nearest authorised dealer and have a chat.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
