WiiM Expands High-Fidelity Sound with Vibelink Amp, Now Officially Released

Following its initial Bristol Hi-Fi Show reveal, WiiM has officially unveiled the Vibelink Amp, a powerful 100W per channel amplifier designed to bring high-fidelity sound to any audio system.
With a focus on seamless integration and premium sound, the Vibelink Amp aims to provide a flexible solution for audiophiles seeking high-performance amplification without unnecessary complexity.
Designed for passive speakers and existing streamers, the company boasts its Vibelink Amp delivers 67% more power than the WiiM Amp Pro and features a high-resolution ESS ES9038Q2M DAC supporting up to 192kHz/24-bit audio. Unlike many powered amplifiers, its optical and coaxial digital inputs accommodate variable sample rates and bit depths, ensuring maximum compatibility across digital and analogue sources.
Dr. Lifeng Zhao, CEO of WiiM, highlighted the company’s commitment to user feedback.
Many audio enthusiasts love streaming's flexibility but don’t always want or need a connected amp. They were also frustrated with the digital audio limitations of other powered amps on the market. The Vibelink Amp provides a pure amplifier solution that maintains exceptional sound quality without needing Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Class-D amplifier promises to deliver 100W per channel (8Ω) or 200W per channel (4Ω), ensuring clean, dynamic audio with the power to drive a wide range of speakers. WiiM has incorporated a premium selection of components, including four TI OPA1612 op-amps and a TI TPA3255 amplifier chip, to ensure high-fidelity sound with minimal distortion. The amp offers analogue RCA, optical, and coaxial inputs, allowing seamless integration into diverse setups, from turntables to digital streamers.
Beyond its sonic capabilities, the Vibelink Amp is engineered for long-term reliability. WiiM says it has implemented advanced heat dissipation features, including copper heat pipes, a large aluminium heatsink, and a heat-spreading case, preventing overheating and maintaining optimal performance even during extended listening sessions. A custom anti-pop noise design ensures smooth, uninterrupted playback when switching inputs or adjusting settings, eliminating the common audio disruptions seen in many powered amplifiers.
The company states a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 120dB (A-weighted) and a THD+N figure of -105dB (0.0005%).
Continuing its compact form factor, the Vibelink Amp shares its 200x200x63mm dimensions with the WiiM Ultra, allowing for easy stacking within the WiiM ecosystem. The device is compatible with WiiM’s Mini, Ultra, Pro, and Pro Plus streamers, enabling multi-room audio and seamless integration for users looking to expand their audio setups.
The Vibelink Amp is available for a confirmed US price of $299 and £319 in the UK. We expect the Vibelink to sell for AU$630.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
