An Epic New Data Cable From Chord Company
Chord Company's Epic Digital Tuned ARAY cable boasts premium materials and proprietary technologies.
Chord Company has released its new Epic Digital Tuned ARAY interconnect. Described as a "premium cable which introduces the benefits of its proprietary Tuned ARAY coaxial conductor geometry to an increasingly digital AV world", it is the latest addition to Chord Company's Epic range, which sits in the middle of the specialist's portfolio.
Designed to enhance digital connection quality between streamers, CD players and transports, and suitably equipped AV devices, the Epic Digital Tuned ARAY benefits from the company's exclusive Tuned ARAY mechanical tuning for enhanced performance and VEE3 plugs finished with the British company's unique ChorAlloy multi-metal plating system.
We are informed that the new digital cable features two high-quality 75 ohm silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors with PTFE insulation and sports a high-density, silver-plated combination braid and foil shield, offering effective protection from high-frequency interference.
With a lifetime guarantee, Chord Company's Epic Digital Tuned ARAY costs £560 for 1 m in the UK, and is available now with RCA/BNC/AES-EBU terminations and custom lengths. Local pricing and availability has not yet been confirmed.
