AU SHOW: Eversolo Digital Line-Up to Star in Fundamental Audio’s Lake Room Display

With a curated mix of digital innovation and Scandinavian speaker design, Fundamental Audio will transform Lake Room 1 at the Melbourne Hi-Fi Show into a three-zone experience space.
The Melbourne-based distributor will showcase its leading brands, including the fast-rising Eversolo digital audio range and Danish loudspeaker specialists Scansonic HD. Making effective use of the space, Fundamental will offer visitors three distinct system displays, each designed to highlight different listening contexts—from desktop-friendly systems to full-scale streaming setups.
The first system centres around the Eversolo Play, an all-in-one streaming amplifier gaining traction for its smart usability and exceptional performance at its price point. In StereoNET’s recent first look, we noted that it “delivers engaging sound with clever ergonomics and surprising flexibility.” Visitors will be able to hear the Play paired with Scansonic HD bookshelf loudspeakers, presented on Solidsteel Italian-made, vibration-isolating racks for optimal setup and acoustic support.
Those looking to explore higher-end offerings can step into the second system display, which features the full-width DMP-A10 digital media player and the matching AMP-F10 stereo power amplifier. In StereoNET’s review of the DMP-A10, Eric Teh praised its expansive soundstage, DAC performance, and intuitive interface, noting it “sets a new benchmark for the category.” This system, is also supported by Solidsteel advanced hi-fi furniture, will be paired with Scansonic HD floorstanding speakers—drawing on the brand’s audiophile heritage and design pedigree.
The third display shifts focus to lifestyle integration. Set within a Scandinavian-style open shelving unit—the kind many will recognise from their own lounge or study—this space presents a more real-world demonstration of Eversolo’s compact, desktop-friendly components. On display will be the DMP-A6 Gen2, AMP-F2, and flagship DMP-A8, each showing how effortlessly they can slot into everyday living environments without sacrificing performance.
These components offer audiophile-grade DAC and streaming capabilities in a smaller footprint. In his review of the DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2, StereoNET’s Eric Teh described it as having an “astonishing feature set and musical transparency at the price.” Meanwhile, the DMP-A8 earned praise for delivering “reference-class conversion and preamp performance in a device that feels like a serious hi-fi centrepiece.” The system will be paired with Scansonic HD bookshelf speakers, well-suited to nearfield or compact-room listening.
Speaking with StereoNET ahead of the show, Fundamental Audio General Manager, Steve Burton, said:
This year, we’ve focused on creating a space that invites deeper engagement with the gear. It’s all about interaction—being able to hear, compare, and genuinely connect with the equipment. Whether you're discovering Eversolo for the first time or coming back with questions, we want our room to be one of the highlights of the show.
With Eversolo gaining global momentum and multiple glowing reviews from StereoNET’s editorial team, this is a rare chance for Australian showgoers to experience the full range in one place. Whether new to hi-fi, exploring the latest in digital streaming, upgrading an existing system, or downsizing without compromise, Fundamental Audio’s Lake Room 1 promises inspiration and real-world relevance.
The StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show takes place August 29-31 at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park. Full show details and tickets are available via the link below.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
