Audeze Signs Up KS Distribution For UK Deal

Audeze partners with KS Distribution in UK distribution deal set to increase brand awareness and accessibility nationwide.

The California-based headphone specialist has chosen the Shoreham-by-Sea distributor to increase its visibility in 2020 and beyond.

Audeze and KS Distribution

KS Distribution has signed a deal with the much-respected high-end headphone brand with the promise that it will make the Audeze's highly respected, no-compromise headphone and earphone range even more accessible across Britain. Audeze is, of course, known for such products as the LCD-1 folding reference headphones, pictured above.

However, recent years has seen the company dip its toes into the gaming headset market with the excellent Mobius which features head-tracking skills, and the open-backed LCD-GX shown above.

The new arrangement will enable KS Distribution to help increase the number of UK retailers, as well as shows and events with their hands-on approach to distribution.

Mark Cohen, Audeze's CSO told StereoNET:

We're thrilled to be working with all the talented people at KS Distribution to help Audeze gain even greater stature in the UK market by at least 3dB. With a number of new products coming in the next few months, this will be an exciting time for all of us.

KS Distribution's managing director, Shaun Gostelow added:

KS Distribution's exciting new partnership with Audeze is an important next step for our business. Audeze is a market leader in high-end hi-fi, studio and gaming headphones, which fits perfectly with our strategy for growth in these categories.

We wish both parties the best of luck in this new partnership.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
