Clarus Cable Now Available in Australia

After a short absence, audiophile cable brand Clarus Cable is now available in Australia once again.
After representing Clarus Cable internationally for over five years, Global AV Sales Australia is now distributing the Clarus range to selected specialist retailers within the Australian market.
Dave Williams, Global AV Sales Australia CEO, told StereoNET:
I'm very proud to bring a brand I'm so passionate about back to Australian audiophiles. In over 30 years within the AV industry, and having worked with the Clarus Cable brand extensively, I already knew the products are exceptional. Now with a select team of specialists around the country and making the products more accessible, it's time for enthusiasts to hear the difference Clarus Cable will make in their audio systems.
The appointment of Global AV Sales as the Australian distributor coincides with the launch of new Mk2 versions across the Clarus Cable range.
Clarus Cable features a multi-gauge design using three different shaped insulated ultra-low distortion PCOCC conductors. Clarus says this "results in an expanded soundstage as well as improved accuracy of bass, midrange and high frequencies." The new Clarus Mark II cables are terminated using connectors made with high purity and high conductivity Tellurium (TE) copper and military-grade Beryllium (BE) copper which provide very low resistance and superior sound characteristics.
Engineered by celebrated cable designer Jay Victor, each of Clarus' high-end cables incorporate a host of patented and patent-pending technologies and have been painstakingly and meticulously handcrafted.
The Clarus Cable range is beginning to become available now, and Global AV Sales welcomes dealer enquiries.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
