CLEER AUDIO ENDURO 100 HEADPHONES

The Cleer Audio Enduro 100 headphones could spell the end for emergency battery packs and carrying wired cans "just in case".

Hot on the heels of their Ally True Wireless, Cleer Audio's latest headphones boast 100 hours of battery life.

Cleer Audio Enduro 100

The aptly dubbed ENDURO 100 squeezes out an industry-first 100 hours of battery life from a single charge. Yes, four full days of continuous music from one full battery of go-juice.

The Enduro 100 isn't just about stamina though; it's also pretty swift when it needs to be. Thanks to USB-C you can get an hour of playback in return for a 5-minute quick charge.

The Cleer Audio Enduro 100 features the company's patented Ironless driver technology and supports AAC and aptX HD. All that should add up to some decent sounds coming into your ears while they are cossetted by the plush earpads.

Furthermore, hooking your Enduro 100 up to your Android device has been made even easier as they also offer Google Fast Pair 2.0; just turn the headphones on, and the pairing request will appear on-screen quicker than you can say "Bluetooth".

They do lack noise-cancelling skills, but that's the pay-off for that prodigious stamina. The long-range lug-pleasers lasts the distance due to packing a (2.96WH) 800mAh battery as well as Bluetooth 5.0 that sips at the juice. Additionally, the latest QCC3034 chipset from Qualcomm helps as does the Enduro automatically pausing when you remove the headphones.

They even look darned good too.

Price and availability

The Enduro 100 will be available in Stingray Grey and Coronado Sand from Harrods in early September priced at £169.99.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
