Edinburgh High End Audio & AV Show Back For 2025

Returning for its second year after a highly successful revival in 2024, the other side of a 17-year hiatus, the Edinburgh Hi-AV Show has even more to offer.
The relaunch of The Edinburgh Audio Show saw an incredible selection of the world's finest audio brands come together at The Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport Hotel.
Hundreds of music lovers flocked to the show over the weekend, and feedback from exhibitors and visitors has been overwhelming with the organisers, The Chester Group, stating, "We couldn't have wished for a better start to what will now become a regular slot in the audio show calendar."
Show organiser Roy Bird told StereoNET:
After an absence of over 15 years, the Edinburgh Audio show bounced back with a 100% take-up of meeting rooms and excellent, quality attendance over the two days.
This must have been a gratifying result given the many trader changes and lack of any meaningful visitor database since the event last went ahead. So much so that JPI Media took a keen interest in promoting online and offline as well as attending, which The Chester Group looks to expand on for 2025.

"Same Great Venue - Same Popular Weekend"
We're told that over 60% of meeting room suites have already been rebooked for November 8-9, 2025 – nine months in advance. Based on that, the organisers have an option of an extra ten separate syndicate room suites, which would mean an increase in show size of 33% over 2024.
Scotland has a wealth of manufacturers, distributors, dealers and industry services, proving there's more than enough to ensure expansion.
This show is the only such event for Scotland and, to some extent, the North of England and The Chester Group, with the support of StereoNET, looks to further enhance and grow the Edinburgh Hi-AV Show and play an essential role in reaching out to new and younger audiences as well as cater for experienced audio fans.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
