HEAR THE CHORD COMPANY DIFFERENCE AT MUNICH

For those still unsure as to the benefits of high-quality cabling in audio systems, The Chord Company will be offering the chance to experience the difference for yourself through a range of demonstrations at Munich's High End Show 2018.

Having made its High End debut at Munich last year, Britain’s biggest specialist A/V cable manufacturer, The Chord Company, will be building on last year’s highly successful entrance with demonstrations of its innovative proprietary technologies and new products.

The company has been designing class-leading, hand-made cables just outside Stonehenge, Wiltshire since 1984. During a wide range of presentations, they will introduce a number of the company’s unique designs, plus some of the very latest products.

Key demonstrations will include the importance of screening in A/V cables, plus a closer look at the company’s unique and ground-breaking ARAY technology, Taylon insulation from the flagship ChordMusic and Sarum T ranges.

Additionally they will have their new ChordOhmic loudspeaker plugs, which were recently unveiled at Sound and Vision, The Bristol Show, in February 2018.

UK representatives from The Chord Company will include Alan Gibb, Doug Maxwell, Pat Mitchell and Martin Cobb, all of whom will be available for demonstrations, technical advice and to help visitors get the very best performance from their particular set-ups.

You can find The Chord Company at High End: Atrium 4, Room F107 (with distributor DREI H)

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
