Jordan Acoustics Steps Up for McIntosh and More

UK McIntosh distributor Jordan Acoustics' two stores step up for the lockdown.
McIntosh's UK distributor, Jordan Acoustics, is stepping up during the lockdown to help and support its customer base and ensure that it still receives the usual high level of service.
Jordan Acoustics' retail stores, Glenrothes, Fife, and its main showroom, nestled in the grounds of an 18th-century manor house just north of Bournemouth, will remain operational albeit temporarily closed to the public in line with government guidance. These bases continue to offer access to remote advice and enquiries with both outlets fully set up to receive and respond to all email, website and phone queries, as well as being able to fulfil orders subject to stock availability.
This is no doubt good news for fans of New York's McIntosh, especially as the proudly American manufacturer has announced a flurry of new products in the past 12 months. For instance, the MC901 valve/solid-state hybrid power amp, MX170 and MX123 A/V processors, and a range of DAC-enabled preamps, including the C2700, C49 and C53.
In addition to McIntosh, Jordan Acoustics is also on hand to facilitate enquiries and sales from its other stocked brands, including PMC, Fyne Audio, Naim; again, subject to stock. Furthermore, this stands true for the company's popular previously loved section (available online). Here you will find a comprehensive selection of ex-demo, ex-display and trade-in products at bargain prices. Jordan Acoustics' staff are always available to discuss trade-ins against new products, too.
Customers are advised to contact the Jordan Acoustics store nearest to their homes with enquiries.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
