Kanto Audio Brings Full 2025 Line-Up to Munich

European debut for UKI, as Canadian brand shows bold new identity.

Canadian audio brand Kanto is bringing its entire 2025 active speaker range to the High End Munich show this week, marking the first time its refreshed product family will be exhibited together in Europe.

While the line-up has been seen before, Kanto says this year’s presentation marks a new chapter, showcasing its vibrant brand identity and commitment to plug-and-play hi-fi simplicity across all living spaces—from desktop to lounge room. The company will also use the event to introduce the UKI to European audiences for the first time, following its CES reveal earlier this year.

The compact UKI loudspeaker is billed as an affordable entry point into true stereo listening. The new clamshell design offers Bluetooth 5.0 streaming, USB-C and RCA connectivity, and even a headphone socket, making it a versatile option for small-space dwellers, students, or anyone stepping into hi-fi for the first time. It will be available in four colours: black, white, cobalt, and sage.

Kanto’s desktop-focused ORA and ORA 4 models will also be on display at the show. The 50-watt bi-amplified ORA system features 3-inch paper cone woofers and ¾-inch silk dome tweeters, with Bluetooth 5.0, RCA, and USB-C inputs, along with a dedicated sub-out for seamless integration with Kanto's SUB8. First ahdn impressions from the show are that the ORA delivers impressive sonic fidelity in a compact footprint, aimed at both enthusiasts and creators working in tight spaces.

Meanwhile, the REN system headlines Kanto’s living room offering. Delivering 100 watts of total power and available in five matte finishes, REN adds HDMI ARC with CEC support to the company’s repertoire for the first time—allowing seamless control via a TV remote. With Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C and Optical inputs (supporting 24-bit/96kHz), plus analogue options and a selectable crossover sub-out, the REN is tailored for both serious music listening and movie nights.

Kanto’s Brett Smalley commented to StereoNET:

It’s great to be at Munich with our new look and full speaker range as we look to widen our presence in Europe at speed in 2025. We're also looking to connect with potential distribution partners across the region.

Kanto Audio’s full range, including UKI, ORA, ORA 4, REN, and accompanying stands and subwoofers, can be experienced at booth H2, K06 at High End Munich 2025.

Pricing Summary:
UKI: £199 / $199 / €229
ORA: £299 / $349 / €399
REN: £599 / $649 / €599 / CA$799

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
