Presto Music Announces Audirvana Integration
Presto Music is now fully integrated into Audirvāna, allowing you to enjoy Presto downloads and streaming in one application.
Presto Music, the UK's leading destination for classical and jazz recordings, alongside the acclaimed music management and streaming application, Audirvāna, have worked closely together to ensure "advanced integration" between the services.
Presto Music offers a streaming service as well as online and in-store music sales covering CDs, DVDs, high-quality downloads and vinyl. We are told that it currently has 200,000+ albums to stream, many in high-resolution audio quality.
Moreover, its Fair Play initiative sees Presto Music pay per second of music streamed rather than 'per play' like other services. This trailblazing initiative makes a significant difference to artists, especially to classical and jazz recordings, where tracks can be significantly longer than the average pop or rock tune.
Meanwhile, Audirvāna manages and plays music from different sources, enabling you to organise, browse and create playlists and favourites from your local music files, downloads and streaming services. Audirvāna states it "continually evolves and improves" its proprietary technology to ensure the best digital audio playback performance from a computer, server or NAS, including fully optimised versions for PC, Mac and Linux systems.
The new integration of Presto Music and Audirvāna now means that you can play Presto over UPnP, Chromecast or USB, with a selection of processing options, including oversampling and acoustic correction, also available to explore. In addition, the Plays With Audirvāna programme offers seamless integration with audio products from a wide range of high-end brands, including Chord Electronics, dCS, iFi, KEF and many more.
