Price Reductions on Trinnov AV Processors

Trinnov's now exclusive Australian distributor, Krix, has wasted no time ramping up its business with revised pricing across most of the Trinnov range.

According to Krix, the pricing overhaul ensures that local pricing is consistent with international pricing, with reductions in the recommended retail pricing across most processors, amplifiers, and accessories.

The Altitude16 processor drops from $25,999 to $23,995 RRP, while the 32-channel version of the Altitude32 has been revised from $54,999 to $48,995 RRP.

Don MacKenzie, National Consumer Sales Manager for Krix, told StereoNET:

Along with the revisions to pricing, we've also hired a full-time product specialist to join our existing team of engineers and designers. We're pleased to be able to offer an even higher level of support to our existing dealer network and we're confident in surpassing the expectations of Trinnov dealers who haven't dealt with us before.

It is understood that Krix has now appointed a product specialist, but has not yet revealed who that person is.

Don continued:

The Trinnov range has great synergy with our design principles – the Optimizer technology allows integrators to correct room issues and optimise in the digital space… things that cannot be done with speakers in the analogue realm.

Since its release in 2014, Trinnov's Altitude platform has redefined the high-end home cinema industry. With over 7000 Trinnov installations worldwide across all markets, its processors have set a cinema AV processing benchmark.

The first Altitude units sold have remained compatible with all later firmware releases, thanks to Trinnov's unique software-based architecture. The platform ensures end-users will receive the latest enhancements in audio codecs and functionality before any DSP chip-based processors, including codecs such as DTS:X Pro that has been enjoyed by Trinnov users for over a year now.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
