As any vinyl junkie will attest, a crucial part of record maintenance is keeping dust out of your grooves. Personally, I use a brush; however, the Sweep-IT E offers even more convenience as it cleans just before the track reaches the cartridge. Position Sweep-IT E on your turntable and make sure that the brush is placed in front of the needle when the record starts. Simple as that.
Sweep-IT E is made from aluminium for its lightweight-yet-durable properties, to ensure a long cleaning life. The heavyweight base sits directly on your turntable with the uni-pivot arm navigating your records just like a tonearm, with minimal resistance.
The soft hair-brush has been purpose-chosen to ensure records remain unharmed and the playback speed remains stable. For times when you don't need Sweep-IT E, it has a dedicated armrest for convenient storage.
The Sweep-IT E from Pro-Ject Audio Systems will be available across the UK from November 2018 at an SRP of £55.00.
