Ray Tubes All Aglow Over New UK Partnership

Premium valve brand Ray Tubes inks UK distribution deal with Feel Flows Audio.
Thanks to a new UK deal, musicians, hi-fi enthusiasts, and sound engineers nationwide can now access Ray Tubes' curated range through Feel Flows Audio Collective's select resellers.
Based in Oakland, California, we're told that Ray Tubes was founded by audio engineers and musicians to address the challenges of the modern vacuum valve market. The company states each valve is handpicked and rigorously tested, ensuring consistent quality, low noise, and maximum reliability.
The brand says that it provides a modern alternative to NOS (New Old Stock) tubes, which can be expensive and inconsistent, with its brand-new and extensively tested valves that deliver "vintage sound without the risks."
Ray Tubes offers three distinct tiers to cater to different needs and budgets starting with its budget Core Series that offers "dependable performance at an accessible price." Next up the ladder is its Select Series, and topping the line is the Reserve Series, its highest-grade vacuum tubes "selected from the best available stock".
Apparently, each valve undergoes a 24-hour burn-in period, high-intensity performance testing, and screening for microphonics, noise, gain, and conductance.
Greg Chapman, Founder of Feel Flows told StereoNET:
We're excited to bring Ray Tubes to the UK. High-quality valves are essential for preserving analogue warmth and depth. Ray Tubes offers the vintage character without the hassle of unreliable, ageing stock. Musicians, audiophiles, and engineers will appreciate the care and expertise behind every valve.
Ray Tubes are now available in the UK and are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
Core Series: Starting from £34.99
Select Series: Starting from £133.99
Reserve Series: Starting from £347.99

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
