Roon Partners With KKBox To Offer Wide Selection of High-Res Asian Music Streaming
KKBOX is one of the go-to options when it comes to streaming Korean, Japanese and Chinese artistes, and Roon users will be delighted to hear that the two companies have finally partnered so KKBOX accounts can now be connected to Roon.

With over 40 million lossless tracks in Asian music genres like K-Pop, J-Rock as well as millions of Western tracks that are licensed for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Macau, KKBOX will be bringing CD-quality and 24-bit high res lossless tracks from well-known singers and bands like Jay Chou, Blackpink and more to the Roon service.
Most of us need little introduction to Roon at this point, but for the uninitiated, Roon is a music playback and management service that collates all your music streaming services in a single location for ease of access, meaning you no longer have to maintain different playlists on different apps and switch between them - everything is available on Roon.
The service also handles music playback, audio stream conversions and more. Long story short, it’s a service that offers a way to make your existing hi-fi equipment “smart” and multi-room while providing music management and features like bit-perfect playback of lossy and lossless file formats, MQA decoding and more.
