RUIPRO ANNOUNCES NEXT-GEN 8K HDMI CABLES
RuiPro, renowned for delivering a reliable and innovative cable solution for the 4K HDMI market and the popular choice with enthusiasts and pro installers has announced its ‘next generation’ of 8K compliant HDMI cables.
RuiPro8K is a Hybrid Fibre HDMI cable allowing Home Theatre, Gaming, large venue designers, installers and enthusiasts to ensure their cabled infrastructure is ready for HDMI 2.1 and its new higher-bandwidth feature set.
Features include support for 8K UHD (7680x4320), 4K UHD (3840x2160), eARC, ARC, HDR (HDR10 and DV), Dynamic HDR (HDR10+ and DV), and the cables are rated to 48Gbps.
RuiPro says its next-generation 8K cables are thinner and softer than traditional Fibre cables enabling a tighter bend radius and is resilient to damage. Further, no additional AC power is required.
Available from June 2019, cables will be offered in 1m, 2m, 3m, 6m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m and 50m or other lengths if required. Prices start at $249 RRP, and each cable is individually tested to conform to all specifications and provided with a compliance certificate.
