Showcasing Audio Visual to the Masses with the Melbourne International HiFi Show 2017

Billed by many as Australia's best ever HiFi Show, the highly successful International HiFi Show returns to Melbourne next year, November 3rd-5th 2017.
Attracting a younger audience not typically exposed to the wonderful world of HiFi and Audio Visual products can be challenging, but thanks to show media partner StereoNET and its diverse readership, combined with street level billboards and extensive print marketing, national exposure via tourism agencies and a genuine marketing foundation, the show was billed by exhibitors as hugely successful and enjoyed by thousands of attendees.
Show Founder and Event Director Marc Rushton said:
We were very pleased with the public and industry response to Australia's first truly International HiFi Show in 2016. The show space was sold out in the lead up to the event, and previous exhibitors have been encouraging us to announce the 2017 event.
We'd originally intended on running the show again in July, however we saw an unmissable opportunity to capitalise on Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival and the high number of interstate vistors to Melbourne in November. This combined with other major events in July, we're now very pleased to be working once again with tourism agencies who are supporting our show via their own reach and looking forward to an even larger show offering in November 03-05, 2017.
The show will also be promoted extensively via StereoNET's new magazine that will launch in January 2017 via an exclusive distribution agreement that will make it available to a potential audience of over 3 million globally from Apple's Newsstand, Qantas Inflight Entertainment, Airport Lounges, Cruise Ships and cafes around the world.
With the headphone market continuing to gain strength, show organisers have also been working with Australia's universities to promote the show while also recognising students via discounted ticketing.
Also showcased will be the growing Internet of Things (IoT) category, Home Automation, Smart Home and cloud connected audio visual products.
A number of international guests have confirmed their attendance, along with both local and international major brands. A marketing campaign will also commence throughout Asia promoting the show in March 2017.
Tickets will go on sale soon.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
