HI-FI SHOW: Three Weeks Until Australia’s Greatest Hi-Fi & AV Show
Australian audio and video enthusiasts are in for a sensory overload as the StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show returns in October, following the massive success of last year's show.
Australia's largest and most well-attended exhibition of its type returns to the Pullman Hotel & Convention Centre in Albert Park, Melbourne, across three great days from October 20-22, 2023.
Spanning three levels, the show boasts more than 60 exhibition spaces and over 150 world-leading brands in hi-fi, home cinema, headphones and more. New for 2023 is the Headzones area, a large space in the Mercure Lounge dedicated exclusively to headphones and portable audio, in conjunction with Sydney's headphone specialist, Minidisc.com.au.
Vinyl lovers are also catered for with the Australian Record Fair, the only three-day record fair in the country. You can expect to find thousands of new and used Records, Music Memorabilia, and accessories from some of Australia's best vendors.
Marc Rushton, StereoNET Founder and Event Director, said:
The StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi & AV Show smashed all expectations when it returned after the pandemic in 2022. Attendance set new records for an Australian Hi-Fi Show, and 2023 is on track to deliver yet another world-class show once again.
The StereoNET Hi-Fi and AV Show allows attendees to see, hear and experience the world's best brands at all price points in one central place at one time. It's a true celebration of music, audio and video. It also offers the opportunity to meet industry experts, speaker designers, home cinema designers, and even equipment manufacturers. Visitors can ask questions and chat with other enthusiasts who share their love for sound quality.
Rushton continued:
Our venue partner, the Pullman Mercure Hotel, is centrally located in Melbourne, overlooking the home of Australian motor racing, Albert Park Lake. Just minutes from the CBD and within easy reach of Melbourne International Airport, it was selected for its ease of access, car parking and public transport.
Many new products will be unveiled for the first time, including a revolutionary new product from Australian loudspeaker manufacturer Krix. But that's not all. Many famous brands from the USA, UK, and Europe will also debut their brand-new product releases.
Whether it's controlling aspects of your home with an iPad, streaming music around your whole house, experiencing the latest in home cinema or listening to the ultimate in audiophile-grade HiFi, it will all be on display at the StereoNET Hi-Fi and AV Show, October 20-22 2023.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
