UPGRADE YOUR TURNTABLE POWER SUPPLY WITH E.A.T

The importance of the power supply, or more specifically, its stability and absence of noise is becoming more widely understood when it comes to high-fidelity audio systems.
That's why European Audio Team (E.A.T) have just released its LPS Linear Power Supply, an upgrade that is compatible with not only its own turntables but many other brands too.
We at E.A.T. strongly believe that power supply is a part of signal path and the quality of power supply extremely significantly contribute to the sound quality. It is done without any compromise.
The LPS contains dual voltage outputs, each with a separate power supply in one enclosure that EAT says, is produced without compromise.
High quality bridge rectification is employed as well as ultra-fast diodes, that is followed with a 8800uF filtration bank. The voltage regulator is fully discrete, no operational amplifier is used and the voltage reference is TL431.
All of this leads to a voltage output that is very low in noise while radio frequency interference is said to be eliminated from the mains voltage supply.
For the techies, the ripple voltage is lower than 1 microvolt and the voltage accuracy is better than +-0,05%, while the temperature drift is "far below any standard power supplies".
Conveniently, the LPS can deliver simultaneous 15V and 18V output, via a 2.1mm, XLR 4-pin and 2.5mm cables that will work with a variety of turntables.
You'll need to check the specs of your turntable's voltage, but the E.A.T LPS will be a worthy upgrade for the C-Sharp, C-Major, E-Flat, Forte and Forte S turntables, along with the E-Glo S phono preamplifier.
The E.A.T LPS Linear Power Supply is available now for $1,995 RRP.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
