Vinyl Fans Meet and Greet at Mona Vale, Northern Beaches on April 19.
Celebrating Record Store Day, popular specialist AV store Audio Boutique is opening its doors and extending its hospitality to vinyl / turntable fans on April 19 in tribute to this nation wide promotion.
Carmelina and Mick Stallone, the store owners have a passion for all things vinyl and all things analogue. Mick is a turntable enthusiast and he’ll be on hand to share tuning tips and setup hints free of charge with fellow enthusiasts, and this invitation has been extended to readers of StereoNET.
The day will be buzzing with vinyl buffs swapping details about their favourite vinyl treasure troves. But it will also be a pleasant opportunity to see and hear great sounding turntables from brands the calibre of Rega, Audio Technica, Thorens and Denon.
Audio Boutique has some swish record cleaning machines so good they get the smallest amounts of dust and grunge out of the grooves of your fave LPs. For a quite reasonable $2 your records will be pristine clean allowing you access to all the detail stored on those delicate grooves.
Audio Boutique has also generously organised a free forum where you can interact with other vinyl buffs and even swap or sell your records.
Be early because similar events have been well attended. The store will throw open its doors starting at 9am and close at 4pm.
