Westone In Ear Monitors Arrive in Australia

Westone have been specialists in the in-ear monitor category since 1959. From Colarado, USA, their pro and personal music range of products is now available in Australia.

Those decades of experience have earnt them the self-declared title of being "The In Ear Experts". Believable, when you look at the impressive list of artists that use Westone in-ear monitors (IEM) exclusively.

With awards including "Best Wearable Tech of 2014", "Digital Trends Best of CES 2014" and countless postive reviews across audio, outdoor and music publications, Westone's extensive range features products for just about any application.

The 'Universal' and 'Custom' range of IEM's caters for the live musician, daily commuter, ourdoor adventurer, and even commercial hearing protection applications.

Australian distributor Busisoft, with 28 years experience in audio technology products, have announced their exclusive appointment as distributor of Westone (pro and personal music range) in Australia and New Zealand. Busisoft adds the Westone brand to a portfolio that already features Grado, Ultrasone, Astell & Kern, Audeze, Auralic, Antipodes, Burson Audio, Abyss and many more.

"We’re constantly searching for the latest audio technology in music streamers, DAC’s, hi-fi and headphones. We’re passionate about the brands we represent, and are proud to represent Westone and their rich history in this category", George Poutakidis, Director of Busisoft told StereoNET.

Westone products are now available from Busisoft, and dealer enquiries are welcome.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
