Leema Quantum Range Debut at NWAS 2022

Leema Quantum four-model range to be unveiled at North West Audio Show 2022, Cranage.
Leema Acoustics Quantum series, comprising the new Electron CD player, Positron streamer, Neutron DAC/preamp and Graviton power amp, will be launched at the North West Audio Show (June 18-19) ahead of the official release in a few months.
Leema's new Quantum line of hi-fi products said to be the result of "several years of development", is a four-strong range entirely designed, engineered and built in the Welshpool factory in Powys, Wales.
Although limited details are available right now, we can share with you that the Neutron DAC/ preamp benefits from an MM/MC phono stage, multi-input DAC, plus both balanced and unbalanced inputs, while the Graviton power amp offers 150 watts (8 ohms) of Class A/B power.
Meanwhile, the Electron CD player features an ES9018 Sabre DAC and benefits from coaxial digital and headphone outputs.
We're told that the new-look full-width product range has been painstakingly developed under the watchful eye of Leema Acoustics' co-founder, Lee Taylor, and is priced at around £1,500-£1,700.
Full details of the new Quantum range should land in the coming months as production starts. In the meantime, visitors to the NWAS will be able to see and hear the new Leema Quantum range in the Mian Audio room (224).

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
