AUDIOLAB AND WHARFEDALE UNVEIL NEW PRODUCTS AT THE BRISTOL HI-FI SHOW

Sister companies Audiolab and Wharfedale have a treat in store for visitors to the Bristol Hi-Fi Show this year.

Audiolab’s flexible and affordable 6000A integrated amp is busy earning rave reviews. At Bristol, you can hear it alongside the matching 6000CDT CD transport, as well as the recently announced 8300CDQ. Additionally, you will get to meet the soon-to-launch 6000N.

The 6000N is the brand's new network player. Combining DTS Play-Fi with Audiolab’s sonic know-how it will be sure to deliver the perfect interface between online music and your home audio system, with Wi-Fi streaming and multi-room connectivity.

Naturally, Wharfedale will be providing the speakers for the demonstrations in this room.

StereoNET has been tipped off that Wharfedale will be previewing some rather exciting new models at the show. If we get more information that we can share with you about these, we will. All we can say at the moment is that it's going to be well worth visiting The Old Vic Suite on the Lower Ground floor.

THE BRISTOL HI-FI SHOW

The Bristol Hi-Fi shows runs from Friday 22nd February through Sunday 24th February 2019 at the Marriott City Centre Hotel, Bristol.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
