Chord Electronics With Rob Watts at CanJam London 2024

Chord Electronics and its Digital Design Consultant, Rob Watts, look forward to this weekend's CanJam.
Chord Electronics is set to welcome desktop audiophiles and head-fi fans to this year's CanJam London. The British-based company will present some of its latest proprietary technology DACs and amplifiers. Moreover, the company's Digital Design Consultant, Rob Watts, will be there throughout the two-day event, talking all things digital audio.
We're told that visitors can look forward to experiencing a wide range of products, including the multi-award-winning Mojo 2 portable DAC and headphone amplifier, the Hugo 2 transportable DAC and headphone amplifier, and the M Scaler standalone upscaler.
This upscaler promises to take DAC performance to the next level thanks to its advanced filter technology and ability to upscale audio to 768 KHz, an incredible 16x the resolution of a standard CD.
Also at the show will be the acclaimed Qutest DAC, Anni desktop integrated/headphone amp, flagship DAVE DAC/preamp and, from the Chord Electronics Professional range, the Alto nearfield monitor/headphone amp (below) - something that most of us won't generally get access to.
Of course, what makes any show special is the opportunity to meet the people behind the products. To that end, alongside Chord Electronics' friendly staff, Rob Watts will demonstrate the products, offer advice and answer questions throughout the weekend.
Finally, attendees are invited and encouraged to use their own headphones to enjoy the electronics on offer through more familiar devices. However, headphones will also be available to use on the stand.
CanJam London is over the weekend of 20-21 July and held at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
