Dynaudio Will Excite You
Dynaudio’s new Excite range of speakers are simply dandy for audio and videophiles, but the sleek styling will also please the significant other in your life.
Two models in the new range, the Excite X18 stand mounts and X44 floor standers are particularly innovative.

Both can be driven to ear pleasing levels by just about any amplifier thanks to their amp-friendly design and highly efficient drivers. They also incorporate new magnetically attached front grills to match their fresh styling, while adjustable outrigger spike feet permit the speaker to be leveled perfectly on any floor surface.
The Excite X18 will fill small to medium rooms with high-end sound and are apparently so musically accurate Dynaudio regards this model as one of the finest compacts they have ever designed.
The X18 is said to have jaw-dropping high frequency resolution, startling transparency, powerful dynamics and taut, deep bass. High frequency performance is courtesy of expensive, 27mm coated soft dome tweeters.

The Excite X44 floor stander has all of the innovative design features of the X18 model including 27mm soft dome tweeters. But it adds a 14cm Magnesium Silicate Polymer membrane (MSP) that is exclusive to Dynaudio models.
MSP is a material whose leading features are low mass, high rigidity, and ideal damping properties making it ideal for bass to midrange drivers.
The Excite 18 costs $2499 RPP while the X44 retails for $7999. Optional stands are available for the X18 and cost $449 RRP.
