ECLIPSE APPOINTS DECENT AUDIO AS UK DISTRIBUTOR

In a bid to make ECLIPSE’s no-compromise loudspeaker range even more accessible in Britain, Japanese high-performance loudspeaker specialist appointed Stockton-on-Tees hi-fi distributor, Decent Audio, as its exclusive UK distributor.

ECLIPSE speakers are easily recognisable at any show, but you can expect to be seeing them more frequently now that Decent Audio has become the brand’s UK distributor.

The partnership also means more opportunities to discover and audition the company’s unique, accurate sound technology.

Decent Audio recently demonstrated ECLIPSE’s flagship TD712zMK2 speaker and range-topping TD725SWMK2 subwoofer at Sound and Vision 2018, the Bristol show.

Commenting on the new deal, Paul Burnip, ECLIPSE’s Sales Manager told StereoNET UK:

I am delighted that ECLIPSE will be working with Decent Audio here in the UK, our strongest overseas market. Decent Audio have a well-earned reputation for a high level of service and extensive product knowledge, both of which ECLIPSE will benefit from over the coming years. I look forward to growing our sales and increasing opportunities for new customers to experience our speaker systems.

Decent Audio’s owner Simon Griffin added:

We are absolutely delighted to be chosen by ECLIPSE to represent their product range here in the UK. This is a brand that is absolutely unique in the market and is a perfect fit for our selection of innovative, beautifully designed and sonically superb audio products.

We look forward to seeing ECLIPSE more regularly on the UK show circuit.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
