Electrocompaniet Now Available Via Elite Audio UK

Elite Audio UK adds some Norwegian high-end to its already impressive roster of brands.
Electrocompaniet has chosen the Fife-based Elite Audio as its exclusive UK distributor. Furthermore, the Norweigian brand is making its entire range available through Elite Audio.
Electrocompaniet has been around since 1973 and has relied on its great philosophy towards the perfect sound - not depending solely on numbers and technical measurements, the company trusts the listening experience to produce a "living, breathing" natural sound. All the company's products are hand-made in their Norwegian base in Tau, near Stavanger.
Additionally, Electrocompaniet has earned its own little pieces of rock history along the way. Not only has the brand scored sleeve credits on Michael Jackson albums, but it also produced one of the most potent high-end amplifiers in existence which was installed at Abbey Road studios. That amp is the now legendary NEMO (above) which was designed to drive the power-hungry Nautilus by Bowers & Wilkins, hence its Jules Verne-inspired nomenclature.
Electrocompaniet has two main product strands: The Classic Line, which comprises high-end audio systems and the EC Living Line that offers a "Modern Wireless and flexible lifestyle multiroom audio system".
Elite Audio owner, Mark Cargill, told StereoNET:
I'm excited to take on this amazing brand with amazing products—it's a privilege for us to represent Electrocompaniet in the UK.
Lasse Danielsen, Electrocompaniet's Sales and Marketing Director, added:
We are delighted to be partnering with Elite Audio for the distribution of our High Fidelity products in the UK. The very professional and skilled team at Elite Audio will add tremendous value to all clients looking to invest in our 100% Norwegian designed and manufactured products, with our signature sound and looks. This partnership will definitely grow our business and presence in the UK. Welcome on board!
The entire range from Electrocompaniet will be available directly from Elite Audio along with their trademark 30 Day No-Risk Home Trial.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
