HI-FI SHOW: DALI to Launch New Products at 2023 StereoNET Show

DALI's Australian distributor, Amber Technology, will showcase two new products at this year's StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi & AV Show.

The DALI Epikore 11 celebrates 40 years of Danish loudspeaker innovation and was first previewed at the High End Munich show in May 2023.

It's touted as the natural evolution of DALI's Epicon series whilst benefitting from the brand's flagship Kore loudspeakers. The 4½-way floorstander features a curved, real-wood veneered cabinet that houses four 8-inch bass drivers, a highly dynamic 6½-inch midrange — each utilising DALI's Soft Magnetic Compound Gen-2 (SMC Gen-2) magnet material — as well as DALI's signature EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter Module.

Available early next year, show attendees will hear the Epikore 11 before it goes on sale when it is expected to sell for $79,999 RRP.

Meanwhile, headphone fans will appreciate the opportunity to hear DALI's iO-12 headphones for the very first time. The culmination of DALI's journey to create world-class headphones, the iO-12 builds on the success of the iO-4 and iO-6 models, taking high-end headphone performance to new heights.

The DALI iO-12 headphones come in a Dark Chocolate finish with a premium case and accessories. They will be on sale in early 2024 for $1,799 RRP.

See and hear all DALI offers in the Albert and Victoria rooms at the 2023 StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi & AV Show, October 20-22 at the Pullman Hotel & Convention Centre, Queens Road, Albert Park. Tickets are on sale now.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
