HI-FI SHOW: TAGA Harmony to Debut at StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show

TAGA Harmony, a well-known audio brand renowned for its superior sound quality and innovative design, is now available in Australia and will debut at the 2023 StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show.
TAGA Harmony offers a wide range of premium products designed for audiophiles and music enthusiasts. Audacity Australia, the Australian distributor, is excited to introduce the flagship feature model, the TCD-50 state-of-the-art CD Player, to Australian consumers.
Delivering exceptional audio performance and cutting-edge technology, its sleek design and advanced features have earned rave reviews from experts and enthusiasts alike. Incorporating high-quality components and meticulous craftsmanship, "this CD player provides a listening experience that is unparalleled in its clarity, depth, and precision", says the company.
The TCD-50 Hi-Fi CD player features the critically acclaimed ESS SABRE ES9018 Reference 32-bit DAC with Hyperstream™ II architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator. It also features an oversized 35W toroidal power transformer, and offers outputs including two analog outputs (RCA unbalanced and XLR balanced) and two digital (Optical, Coaxial). It also provides a headphone output with volume regulation for those who prefer discrete listening.
Available now, the TAGA Harmony TCD-50 sells for $995 RRP.
Complementing TAGA Harmony will be Airpulse's A100HD Active Monitor speakers. This remarkable speaker is a fusion of two highly successful Airpulse models, marrying the depth and breadth of the A200 cherry wood speakers with the contemporary flair of the A100 line. The result is a certified Hi-Res digital audio processing marvel that the company says "delivers intoxicating sound quality and boasts stunning visual appeal".
This plug-and-play speaker utilises the brand's signature horn-loaded aluminium ribbon tweeter. Inheriting the mechanism from the 7001, the thin aluminium ribbon diaphragm has excellent transient response, high sensitivity, an increased frequency range and well-defined sound details.
This meticulously formulated horn shape produces directional and optimized high frequencies, directing the sound to the listener and reducing unwanted room reflection. The result is a superior, three-dimensional sound with an excellently defined sound stage.
The mid-woofer is a 5-inch unit with a 35mm diameter voice coil - larger than most found in similar-sized speakers. The rear-ported cabinet uses 25mm thick, high-strength MDF and is fully lined with professional waved sound absorption material.
The A100 supports multiple inputs, including AUX, PC, USB, optical and Qualcomm's Bluetooth v5.0 chipset. TRANSPARENT cable is used for internal connections to ensure minimum signal loss, producing a reliable sound quality. Bass, treble and volume controls are located on the back panel.
The pair of speakers includes a wireless remote that allows you to switch between inputs, adjust volume and mute your speakers from a distance.
Available now, the Airpulse A100HD Monitors sell for $1,295 RRP /pair.
You can see and hear it all on the Audacity Australia Expo Booth at the 2023 StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show, October 20-22, at the Pullman Hotel & Convention Centre, Queens Road, Albert Park. For a limited time, discounted tickets are available online.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
