Just two years ago StereoNET announced that Sydney based Cogworks would handle the portfolio of products built by the Portuguese Acoustic panel specialist, Artnovion.

Fast-forward to July 2018 and the new distributor is Interdyn, a legacy audio importer based in Melbourne who will handle distribution of the brand in both Australia and New Zealand.

The brand will join Interdyn's growing stable of high-calibre brands which includes SVS, Pro-Ject, Rotel, Devialet, IsoTek, PMC, and Ortofon.

The announcement has been a well-kept secret, but it does reinforce the notion that Melbourne is rapidly becoming Hi-Fi Headquarters Central for an increasing number of brands.

Interdyn co-directors, Sam Encel and Evgeny Vizelman are excited about the new acquisition. This is the first time the company has ventured into acoustic solutions, but this shouldn’t prove much of a barrier.

Evgeny Vizelman told StereoNET:

We want to be a one-stop-shop distributor, able to support our network of retailers with a range of products to suit all customer needs. The addition of Artnovion to our offering brings us a step closer to that goal.

Interdyn says it will be working closely with Cogworks to ensure a seamless transition, while Cogworks will continue to specify Artnovion products in its cinema designs.
