Krix Loudspeakers Now Available Throughout UK

Krix, the Australian designed and manufactured loudspeaker brand now sold throughout the world is now available in the UK and Ireland thanks to a new distribution deal.
Effective immediately, Krix has appointed Invision as its exclusive distributor, joining brands including AudioControl, ELAC, LitheAudio, Origin Acoustics, Trinnov Audio, and many more in its portfolio. The distribution deal will see the full range of Krix's residential products available to Invision's customers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Krix was founded by Scott Krix in the 70s, and have established themselves as the leading high-end cinema speaker brand for people who want to experience sound rather than simply listening to it.
Inventors of the world's first infinite baffle speaker system, Krix offers a wide range of residential and commercial professional-grade cinema products, including what has been affectionally referred to as its "Wall of Sound" products.
Mark Taylor, commercial director at Invision, told StereoNET:
Our mission has been to bring together the very best brands across the smart home sector for our customers. The inclusion of Krix, a high-end cinema speaker brand, is the next step in achieving that. Our audio portfolio consists of everything you need to build the perfect audio environment. Encompassing award-winning speakers, subwoofers, home cinema processors and amplifiers, the addition of Krix's products amplifies our product offering in this area.
Krix's MX-40 is the brand's flagship 3-way design and features a dedicated high-frequency compression driver and newly engineered 6-inch midrange driver. Both are coupled to a single-mould, dual-horn system that has been developed by Krix over the last three years. The horn brings a uniform, constant directivity pattern, improved frequency response and extremely low distortion, even when pushed to immense sound pressure levels.
The front main speakers incorporate the proven 15-inch Krix bass driver, while the submodules house authoritative 18-inch woofers. The resulting driver and horn complement delivers an incredibly smooth and dynamic cinema sound.
Michael Cox, Marketing Manager at Krix, added:
Krix are very pleased to be working with Invision for our UK distribution. Our loudspeakers are engineered with a strong focus on clarity, dynamic range and immense output. They're able to convey all the action, emotion and drama of a movie... to allow the viewer to escape reality.
These speaker systems must be specified and integrated to the highest level. We know that Invision's exceptional service, experience and technical ability make them the perfect partner to deliver the ultimate cinema experience. 'Real Cinema at Home' as we like to say!

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
