Live Music at Burwood Music Centre

If you love blues, jazz, extraordinary harmonica playing, and the superb piano playing of ade ishs ...this is an event not to be missed.

Purrfect Records in association with ade ishs Music is excited to present a very special concert event - a live video recording featuring Reyharp (playing jazz and blues harmonica) and ade ishs on grand piano, at the Burwood Music Centre.

About Reyharp:

Born in Jakarta-Indonesia 16 years ago, REYHARP or Reyhan Naufal is one of the young shooting stars emerging on the contemporary harmonica scene.

Reyharp plays blues and jazz on the diatonic harp with a maturity and assurance which belies his years and astonished listeners at the prestigious Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival 2012, where he won the diatonic contest in the face of stiff competition.

He is the number 4th of Solo Diatonic Jazz Category in the World Harmonica Festival 2013-Trossingen, Germany.

Reyharp started learning to play the blues with his uncle, as well as developing his musical talents by studying jazz on his own. Reyharp soon proved to be a quick learner and he now plays the diatonic harmonica chromatically through the use of controlled bending and over bending.

Despite his youth, Reyharp has already gathered considerable musical experience, and has performed numerous live gigs as well as appearing on concert stages and winning several awards.

His general musical influences include jazz greats such as Keith Jarrett, Wynton Marsalis, Charlie Parker and Didier Lockwood.

As a harmonica player he is inspired by Howard Levy, Carlos del Junco and Toots Thielemans.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
