Lyngdorf Unveils New Custom Integration Speakers at ISE 2025

Lyngdorf Audio is set to showcase its latest innovations at the ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) Show 2025.
It will unveil the D-6 in-wall speaker, the DW-10 high-performance in-wall woofer, and the new BWS-210 high-performance in-wall woofer designed for Steinway & Sons speaker installations. Expanding the brand’s Discreet Series, these additions emphasise high-fidelity performance while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic for custom installation solutions.
The Lyngdorf D-6 is an in-wall alternative to a traditional two-way bookshelf or stand-mount speakers. It delivers a balanced and natural sound while seamlessly integrating into various interior spaces. Unlike some of Lyngdorf’s existing in-wall models, the D-6 features a lighter construction with no pre-mounted MDF enclosure, making it well-suited for lighter walls and limited cavity spaces. According to Lyngdorf Audio, performance remains uncompromised due to high-quality drive units mounted on a low-resonance MDF baffle.
According to Lyngdorf, the D-6’s 6.5-inch aluminium midrange/woofer and soft dome tweeter are designed to deliver precise sound reproduction with a coherent tonal balance. The company states that with a sensitivity of 89 dB and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, the D-6 should be easy to drive with most amplifiers while still being capable of handling high sound pressure levels. Lyngdorf claims that whether used as a front speaker in a two-channel stereo setup or as a surround speaker in a home cinema, the D-6 is designed to provide an immersive audio experience.
The Lyngdorf DW-10 is another addition to the Discreet Series, a high-performance in-wall woofer engineered for installations that demand exceptional bass response and space efficiency. Building on the success of the DW-1 released last year, the new DW-10 features a deeper enclosure with dual 10-inch woofers designed to fit 6-inch cavity walls while delivering an extended bass response.
Using two patented high-excursion shallow woofers, the DW-10 employs a combination of an innovative voice coil and cone geometry, a four-layer voice coil, an ultra-rigid dual aluminium cone, and a powerful neodymium magnet. The company claims these features deliver deep, powerful bass with impressive output, creating a fast and precise response that blends naturally with larger speaker setups. Furthermore, the sealed enclosure enhances rigidity and resonance control, making it suitable for dedicated home cinemas, media rooms, or installations where freestanding subwoofers are not viable.
With the D-6 and DW-10, Lyngdorf continues to expand its Discreet Series lineup, which now includes nine models: D-500, D-500 Center, D-5, D-5 IC, D-6, D-60, D-60 C, DW-1, and DW-10. Each speaker and woofer in the series is engineered for custom installations, which Lyngdorf says offers seamless integration with both in-wall and freestanding speaker setups.
The BWS-210, or Boundary Woofer Shallow, is a high-performance in-wall woofer designed for Steinway & Sons speaker installations. Featuring two powerful 10-inch bass drivers, the company claims this allows the woofer to deliver deep, dynamic bass from an ultra-slim enclosure. It features a four-layer voice coil, ultra-rigid dual aluminium cone, a powerful neodymium magnet, and an extremely rigid cast aluminium basket, all working together to achieve what the company claims is an impressive bass performance that matches the signature sound quality of Steinway & Son's speakers.
As with all Steinway & Sons loudspeakers, the BWS-210 is part of Steinway Lyngdorf’s Integrated System approach to ensure seamless interaction between speakers, woofers, digital amplifiers, and stereo or surround processors. Incorporating RoomPerfect™ technology, the system acoustically calibrates speaker and woofer performance to room acoustics while advanced Bass Management optimises sound integration, delivering the best possible audio experience in any setup. Each speaker and woofer in the series is engineered for custom installations, which Lyngdorf says offers seamless integration with both in-wall and freestanding speaker setups.
Lyngdorf Audio will officially unveil the D-6, DW-10, and BWS-210 at ISE 2025 in Barcelona, running from February 4th to 7th, 2025. Both models are expected to be available at authorised dealers in Q1 2025.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
