New Show AudioCon to Launch in Los Angeles for 2022
As the world came to a standstill during COVID, so to did the lifeblood of the international hi-fi market, trade shows. A new international high-end audio show has been announced for Newport Beach, Los Angeles, with a proven and successful history and backing.
AudioConLA, scheduled for January 14-16, 2022, is presented by the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society and organized under the direction of Sarah Tremblay and Michel Plante, the successful duo behind Montreal Audiofest and Toronto Audiofest.
Bob Levi, Chairman of LA&OC Society, said:
With its many convenient airports and large population — greater Los Angeles is the most populous region in the US — the Los Angeles area is the most thriving fine-audio hub in America with an expanding network of retailers and manufacturers. In the midst of this, our audio society has grown to over 2700 members, the largest in the world, according to The Absolute Sound.
Hoping to benefit from its equidistant location from key Asian markets and the EU, show organizers have considered LA to be an ideal location to hold an exclusive annual high-end show.

Sarah and Michel understand our desire to make AudioConLA a uniquely entertaining and worthwhile experience for music lovers, audiophiles, and exhibitors, by offering the public a safe and fun environment conducive to listening to music and shopping for audio and audio-related accessories, including speakers, electronics, sources, headphones, and cables, among other items.
AudioConLA 2022 will also present two world-class music concerts to be held at the Hyatt Regency's exclusive 1200 seat tree-lined outdoor amphitheatre, the home of the Newport Beach Jazz Festival. Performers will include internationally renowned jazz pianist/singer Anne Bisson on Friday evening and the pop-sensation Charlotte Cardin on Saturday evening.
AudioConLA will run from January 14 to 16, 2022, at the iconic Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, 1107 Jamboree, Newport Beach, CA. Tickets go on sale August 15.
