Singapore’s PRISM+ Launches New 4K Android Smart TVs

Singapore's own and much-loved consumer tech company, PRISM+ has today announced its series of affordable Android TVs including a premium 55-inch model that will sell for just S$699.
PRISM+ disrupted the market last year with its launch, and this year's models, which also includes a 65-inch version for S$999 and a 75-inch version for just S$1,599 are sure to be popular.
For just a young company, PRISM+ landed firmly on the global map with its first releases. As consumers are staying at home more than ever throughout the pandemic, the company has enjoyed massive growth.
PRISM+ Q Series Android TVs operate on the Android TV 9.0 OS, which gives consumers access to the Google Play Store and over 7,000 compatible apps. The range also features Google Chromecast and Google Assistant built-in. You can simply use your voice to make the TV perform certain functions such as changing channels and at the same time, control home devices such as dimming the lights in the living room.
Jon Ng, Head of Sales & Operations of PRISM+, told StereoNET Asia:
With more time being spent at home, many consumers are looking to level up their on-screen entertainment but are not willing to splurge on Android TVs. As the availability of Android TVs have increased significantly, we can now offer industry-standard Android TVs at a lower price point to cater to such consumers.
The three models in the Q Series 4K UHD Android Smart TV range are compatible with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and also have built-in Bluetooth capability. They also support Dolby Audio, DTS TruSurround, and have a built-in Digital TV tuner.
Available from today, the 55-inch (S$699), 65-inch (S$999), and 75-inch (S$1,599) models can be purchased directly from the Prism+ website.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
