Wireworld Plugs Into Next-Gen ‘Series 10’ Cables

Wireworld Cable Technology, a company recognised globally for its high-performance audio and video cables, has introduced its latest Series 10 range to the market.

According to Wireworld, this next-generation lineup builds on the success of its predecessor, Series 8. It brings significant advancements in design, materials, and performance—delivering what the company claims to be an extraordinary audio and visual experience for both enthusiasts and professionals.

Wireworld states that the Series 10 cables incorporate an enhanced version of its patented DNA Helix design, which features additional strand groups to reduce electromagnetic (eddy current) losses. The company claims this results in improved resolution, focus, and dynamic contrast, setting a new benchmark for signal integrity. Additionally, Wireworld says its latest COMPOSILEX® 5 composite insulation technology helps reduce triboelectric noise, aiming to provide cleaner sonic textures and a quieter background.

The Series 10 range includes audio interconnects, speaker cables, power cords, and digital audio cables (75-Ohm and 110-Ohm). Wireworld asserts that the speaker cables now feature twice the number of strand groups, a change the company says enhances musical expression, detail retrieval, and soundstage expansion. Wireworld believes this upgrade will benefit all systems, from entry-level home audio setups to professional mastering studios.

Wireworld also highlights its Power Conditioning Cords™, which the company says have been upgraded further to enhance their Fluxfield™ design for shielding and filtering. According to Wireworld, the introduction of COMPOSILEX® 5 refines these characteristics, aiming to improve spatial separation, detail resolution, and dynamic contrasts. The company suggests that these cables help extend the benefits of power conditioning directly to a component’s power inlet for a cleaner and more refined performance.

Founded in 1992 by industrial designer David Salz, Wireworld Cable Technology has positioned itself as a leader in high-performance digital and analogue cable solutions for home and professional AV applications. The company’s approach focuses on rigorous testing, premium materials, and proprietary designs, which Wireworld claims help achieve greater transparency and dynamic expression in audio and video reproduction.

Pricing and availability for specific Series 10 cables will be announced soon.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
