High End Munich 2022 - The StereoNET Coverage
The results are in, and as High End Munich 2022 has been deemed a resounding success by the organiser, exhibitors and visitors, you can check out just what made this year's show special in our multi-part coverage by StereoNET UK Editor, Jay Garrett.
High End 2022 finally went ahead, unlike the previous few iterations, and we are told that the MOC Event Center, the show's venue, welcomed 19,767 visitors to its halls and atriums. It must be said that there was a collective sigh of relief as well as the joy of seeing friends for the first time in three years, in many cases.
With the after effects of the pandemic still causing issues for most of our team, it left most of us sadly grounded, leaving the weight of the world's largest show in our industry squarely on Garrett's shoulders. Over these reports, we hope to have whet your appetite for High End Munich 2023, which is set to happen from May 18th to 21st, 2023, at the MOC Event Center in Munich. The show is expansive, and to do it proper justice, it must be experienced in person. Hats doffed to the organisers, High End Society, who managed to rally the brands and distributors to come together and demonstrate their products for the first time since the cancellations started by the pandemic. However, it would have had none of the atmosphere if it wasn't for the visitors, whether from the industry or hi-fi fans from around the world. Everyone we spoke to over the four days said that the show had a very positive feeling about it which has translated to them being excited for the coming year - and I did too. Fingers crossed, it all works out, and the entire StereoNET team will see you in Munich next year.
