Audio Active, one of Australia’s fastest growing national audio distributors, is actively seeking a new General Manager, Sales & Marketing.

The company handles a portfolio of elite brands including Van Den Hul, IsoTek, Paradigm, Luxman, Anthem, Sony, Primare, Martin Logan and Emotiva and many others that almost sell themselves.

Audio Active was awarded first place in the SmartCompany Smart50 Awards and BRW Fast Starter Awards.

The successful applicant will lead a friendly and well-qualified Sales team, and the brief will include growing an already successful Hi-Fi specialist and Custom Integration program.

Skills required for this position include excellent relationship building skills along with a strategic mindset to deal with the everyday needs of the company’s dealers.

Industry experience and formal Marketing and Sales qualifications would also be ideal but not mandatory. Audio Active’s chief criterion is your ability during the interview, to show a strong and proven track record of business building success.

The position requires you to: manage a team of three that report directly to you, brand and product sourcing, implement sales, pricing and marketing strategies and build and maintain solid relationships with all of the company’s clients and suppliers.

Qualities you’ll be expected to have are leadership and computer and presentation skills that are top rank.

A remuneration package commensurate to the seniority of the position will be negotiated for the right candidate.
