Audio Physic Celebrates 35 Years with New Models

The highly regarded German loudspeaker specialist, Audio Physic, has given three of its legendary loudspeakers an upgrade in celebration of the company's 35th anniversary.
According to the manufacturer, "decades of pioneering work in the research and application of new materials and structures in loudspeaker development" have led to this latest release. Audio Physic has reissued its AVANTI 35, TEMPO 35, and STEP 35.
Wolfgang Lücke, Managing Director at Audio Physic, told StereoNET:
Since our foundation in 1985, we have been driven by one thought: "Nothing, but Music". We want to build loudspeakers you can't hear, which disappear in the music. Bringing music to life, making every detail physically tangible,
The AVANTI 35 ($12,500 RRP) is the "perfect all-rounder with newly tuned bass foundation" featuring a new woofer, a new crossover, and "raises the bass reproduction to a new level." The mid-range chamber has also been revised and now features Audio Physic's honeycomb construction.
The TEMPO 35 ($10,600 RRP) offers a new look thanks to popular demand from customers with a new magnet front cover made of fabric. It also features an HHCM III midrange driver, new crossovers, and a VCT III connector terminal. The company says the new features "give the TEMPO 35 an unprecedented sovereignty and perfection."
STEP 35 ($4,600 RRP) is the smallest of the anniversary loudspeakers and not only looks stylish; it knows how to make itself heard - equipped with HHCM III woofers and mid-range drivers, new crossovers, and VCT III connection terminal.
All three new models will be available later this year. For more information, visit Audio Physic.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
