Audio Pro Announces Compact and Portable P5 Speaker

Swedish audio brand, Audio Pro, is on a roll with a series of new product announcements. This time, it's the P5 and its smallest device yet.
Small enough to fit in a handbag or suitcase, the P5 follows on from its other popular portable speakers, such as the Addon C3 and Addon T3 speakers.
Known for delivering rich sound and stunning battery life, consumers have flocked to Audio Pro's range. However, none have been as compact or portable as this release, allowing you to take the famed Audio Pro sound with you on the go.
Jens Henriksen, CCO at Audio Pro, told StereoNET:
We have had many requests from our customers for a compact speaker that easily fits in a suitcase. While we already have several portable speakers in our range, the size of these has been better suited to carrying out into the garden or down to the beach. Perhaps only the most committed Audio Pro fans might dedicate enough space in their suitcases to these when going on holiday.
Measuring just 22x10 cm but still large enough to create more than enough output, the P5 delivers more music than it should be able for its size. Weighing just over half a kilo, there's no chance of it taking your suitcase over the weight limit at the airport. Audio Pro says the P5 is also both wind and rain resistant, "providing higher-quality sound than its contemporaries in the travel speaker category."
The Audio Pro P5 will be available around August this year, and will sell in Australia for $249.95 RRP.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
