Beyerdynamic Sounding Off at the Show

beyerdynamic will be sounding off at the first inaugural International HiFi Show Melbourne, held at the Pullman Mercure Hotel, in Albert Park, Melbourne, July 1st-3rd 2016 at Stands C1-C3.

Over the course of the show beyerdynamic will be exhibiting and actively displaying a wide range of their consumer headphones, along with both of their acclaimed A2 and A20 Headphone Amplifiers. Utilising the floor space of three show booths, the headphones on display will include, but not be limited to the cool and funky Custom Street headphone, highly acclaimed T51 p on-ear headphone and in addition, the T90, T5 and T1 headphones to round off the high-end offering.

Do it yourself, but don’t forget to BYOD!

Perhaps the most important aspect of the beyerdynamic stand is the layout concept. At your leisure you can audition the headphones on display via the A2 and A20 flagship amplifier listening to high quality audio; but at the same time the stand has a layout that is specifically designed for show visitors to audition the headphones on display at each listening station with their personal media players, smartphones or tablets via a simple plug n play aspect.

Why take the driver’s seat during the audition with you own device?

Wayne Farran, National Sales & Marketing Manager for Beyerdynamic's Australian distributor, Syntec, says:

Over the years I have experienced numerous Hi Fi shows. A lot of the demonstrations have corralled people into a situation where they had to audition a product through either a specifically chosen playlist, or for that matter high end audio reproduction system.

That’s fantastic if we all listen to the same CD, DVD or playlist as what is being used to demonstrate the system; or for that matter if we intend to use the product we’re auditioning through the same highly expensive demonstration system.

Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s important to experience the best possible audio reproduction on any product you’re auditioning; but at the same time we should have the opportunity to audition the product listening to our favourite music be it ABBA, Adele, UB40 or U2. Even better if you can audition the product through your personal media player!

beyerdynamic Welcomes You

At the International Hi FI Show Melbourne, beyerdynamic encourages you to visit their stand with your own device loaded with your favourite music and take the time to audition our wide range of consumer headphones. In short, they want you to take the driver’s seat during the auditioning process.

Something that we share in common ... You want the best audio experience possible! For over 90 years beyerdynamic engineers have been driven by that exact same reason.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
