Announced simultaneously with the April 2014 release of the P5 Maserati Edition headphones, the 805 Maserati Edition features numerous audiophile-grade technologies, including Bowers & Wilkins’ Diamond Dome Tweeter, and delivers a listening experience synonymous with the culture and heritage of both brands.
Crafted with fine materials that echo the partnership, 805 Maserati Edition features exquisite bird's eye maple, real wood veneer and black Maserati leather, reflecting the luxurious interior of Maserati. The speaker stand that forms an integral part of the 805 Maserati Edition, finished with the same polished wood veneer and features the Maserati Trident.
The proven 805 formula of a 1" diamond dome tweeter and 6.5" Kevlar midrange driver in a 2-way, front ported enclosure continues in 805 tradition. B&W promises a frequency response down to 49Hz -3dB and 42Hz -6dB.
So while owning a Maserati vehicle might be out of the question for many of us, you can own a pair of 805 Maserati Edition speakers from April 2014, $13,000 RRP.
