FREE ENTRY TO 2019 STEREONET MELBOURNE HI-FI SHOW FOR NSW RESIDENTS

Chester Group, UK-based organisers of the 2019 Australian Hi-Fi & AV Show planned to be held in Sydney this year have announced they will postpone their show until 2020.
Roy Bird, Chairman of UK's Chester Group, told StereoNET:
The Chester Group have spent over three months talking directly, and at length, with past and potentially new Exhibitors and there continues to be a considerable concern that the majority believe the Australian industry just cannot justify two shows per year.
As organisers of the 2019 StereoNET Melbourne International Hi-Fi Show, October 18-20, and now in its fourth year, we believe this is a positive outcome for the industry and thank Roy Bird and Chester Group for their cooperation.
The decision will no doubt leave Sydney-based AV and Hi-Fi enthusiasts disappointed. However, StereoNET would like to extend a special offer to Sydney residents to attend the Melbourne show in October.
StereoNET is offering complimentary Day Passes to the October show to anyone presenting official photo identification showing an NSW residential address. To take advantage of this offer, purchase your tickets here and present your Photo ID upon entry at the show.
The 2019 StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi Show is shaping up to show once again why it's a leading show of its type, gaining international attention and attracting crowds of thousands across all three days, enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
The 2019 StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi Show will take place October 18-20, Pullman Mercure Hotel, Queens Road, Albert Park. If you're on Facebook, you can like the official page here, and RSVP to the event here.
Tickets are on sale now at www.hifishow.com.au.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
