GOLDENEAR SPEAKERS FINDS NEW AUSTRALIAN HOME

Network AV, the northern Sydney based AV distributor is now the official Australian representative of Goldenear Technology speakers. The brand was previously part of the Advance Audio portfolio.
Goldenear’s co-founder founder and industry stalwart, Sandy Gross, is looking forward to Network AV handling this US audiophile quality speaker brand.
He told StereoNET:
We are very pleased with the work put in by Advance Audio over the years and have enjoyed working with them.
I’m very excited to take on Network AV as our new partner for Australia and am confident they will continue to drive Goldenear.
Goldenear Technology co-founder, Sandy Gross
The amicable handover of Goldenear continues Advance Audio’s current restructuring and streamlining plans.
The company recently relinquished distribution for Mark Levinson and Revel speakers. It also appointed Nigel Ng as its new general manager following Michael DiMeglio’s move to Busisoft AV in April.
Advance Audio clearly wants to focus on core brands it sees as vital to the direction it has charted for growth and expansion.
The Sydney based distributor still holds key brands including Arcam, Wilson Audio, Linn, and KEF, along with a dozen other high profile brands.
Josef Riediger, Advance Audio's Director is full of praise for Network AV.
He said:
We’re happy that Network AV are taking on Goldenear. They will do an excellent job with the brand and we wish Claver Harper and the team all the success they deserve.
Brands are continually changing distributors in Australia. The majority change hands in far less harmonious conditions.
Goldenear Technology’s latest move shows some distributors, in this case, Advance Audio, don’t outsource their business code of ethics.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
