Kuala Lumpur International AV Show (KLIAVS) Announces New Venue for 2023

The Kuala Lumpur International AV Show (KLIAVS) will be held from 27 to 29th October 2023 at The Gardens Hotel in Mid Valley City, KL, Malaysia.

Organised by 3Dot Events, the KL International AV Show (KLIAVS) is Malaysia's largest Hi-Fi and AV Show, with over 50 exhibitors and more than 100 brands represented this year. Marking its 29th anniversary this year, the show promises to be the highlight of the Hi-Fi and AV scene in Malaysia.

Dick Tan, Chairman of the KL International AV Show, told StereoNET:

"We had great success last year when our KLIAV show returned from the COVID pandemic. The whole industry was eager to be back and it showed in the show attendance last year. We are eagerly expecting the same this year."

Tan continued:

"We found a new venue for the show this year, at The Gardens Hotel, located at the Mid Valley City Complex. It is one of the busiest shopping complexes in Kuala Lumpur, and we are hopeful that the turnout will be even better in this new venue with the show taking a total of five floors."

Like previous years of the show, we can expect brands like Aavik Acoustic, Ansuz Acoustic, ARCAM, Audiovector, Audioquest, Auralic, Avantgarde, Bassocontinuo, Borresen Acoustic, Bowers & Wilkins, Cary Audio, Chord Electronics, Denafrips, Dynaudio, Elipson, Esoteric, Estelon, Focal, Fyne Audio, Harbeth, Hegel, HiFi Rose, iFi Audio, Innuos, IsoAcoustics, JBL, JVC, Kinki Studio, Karan Acoustics, Klipsch, Luxman, McIntosh, Monitor Audio, Naim, Neat acoustics, Onkyo, Piega, Pioneer, Pro-Ject Audio, Rega Research, REL, Shunyata Research, Siltech Cables, Sonus faber, SolidSteel, SPL Audio, SVS, Sumiko, TEAC, Tellurium Q, Triangle, Trinnov and more to showcase their latest products.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
